It’s the moment of truth and the moment to lie.
The moment to live and the moment to die.
The moment to fight, the moment to fight,
to fight, to fight, to fight.

Happy New Year!

I’m terrible at announcing that I’ll never watch Merlin again, and then watching it as soon as it comes back, but I don’t think there’s any reason to continue putting myself through this. No one will ever find out about Merlin’s magic until none of us care any more, and Gwen will never be allowed…
I just wanted to underline this because I agree:
This is a show that is choosing to run with the idea that killing a village of innocent people/drowning babies/killing people who are trying to avenge their dead children/all the various things the “good”, male characters have done are more worthy of forgiveness than kissing a man other than your fiance. You (if you’re a man) hold the moral high ground in refusing to forgive a woman for cheating on you, but you can expect a dead child to forgive you for murdering him and everyone he knew. That’s what we’re going with. In fact, kissing people other than your fiance (if you’re a woman) is such an egregious crime that a good girl would only do it under the influence of magic, otherwise, how can we be expected to root for a happy ending for her? And, again, no problem with a child murderer as a romantic hero.
